Watched: 03/08/16 This movie is very well done, just because of how much the second half of it completely messes with your mind. It took me a good half an hour to figure out just what exactly had happened and why certain characters were saying certain things at the end. I still don't know if I have it all correct either. Recommended, and the music is awesome too.

Watched: 03/07/16 I really enjoyed the first 40 minutes or so of this one, but after that it got really boring. All of the action scenes were great, and the first half of the film was filled with them, but then the plot took over. I wasn't a fan of the plot, the villain, or the Bond girl. I didn't care about Bond and Camille's connection at all. Most of the plot was largely uninteresting, but they did a good job of wrapping it up nicely at the end. Not horrible, not great.

Watched: 03/03/16 I've never seen the original film, so I may be coming from a weird place, but a lot of things bothered me about this movie. The tree, the endless closet, the entire second half, the first paranormal investigator thinking the family has created a hoax story just one scene after he witnessed the poltergeist in action...I mean, seriously? This movie just felt so unrealistic, to the point where I couldn't enjoy it very much. It's also far too fast paced for my liking, and I didn't like much of the acting (although I care far more about story in movies anyway). There are far worse movies than this out there though, that's for sure.
